Lawn Wars

The more deeply you immerse yourself in vernacular ornamentation,
the harder it is to get out. We organized the 1000 slides into a
scholarly lecture show, and performed at select venues.
It became obvious there was a crying need for a field guide
to sell to the unwary. At least we heard a lot of moaning.

That's when we were approached by Bowdoinham College Press
to produce this landmark work.
